Never work with children or animals....
We recently were thrown the challenge to produce a tourism campaign for Horsham Rural City Council. Tourism, it's our jam! We love sharing hidden gems in the Wimmera, Mallee and beyond. This job was a quick turnaround and the target audience - FAMILIES, which involves filming and photographing CHILDREN.
Kids are great - we love them, but on tight deadlines and short shoot days, things can go wrong very quickly. It always ends in tears.
Using this challenge, we flipped the brief and told the holiday from a kids' perspective. What is more important than park hangs and ice cream in a kids day? So happy to say, ALL the kids were total legends and we got so much great footage.
And the voice-over - is usually recorded by a professional in a sound booth - our little legend did the read in the back seat of the car (great acoustics FYI).
